30 Day Shred - Day 5 & 6

Day 7 &8 - Wednesday & Thursday
Program: Level 1
Notes: My pushups are getting sooo much stronger!! I made it through both sets!! On the last set for strength, I also was able to make it with the raises a lot better... it was still tough, and the last 2 reps, I had to really push through it, but I finished! I am feeling stronger! 28 more days to go!

30 Day Shred - Day 5 & 6

Day 5 &6 - Sunday & Tuesday (I had to take Saturday and Monday off due to being out of town those days)
Program: Level 1 (Sunday) Level 2 (Tuesday)
Notes: Had to skip 2 days....I didn't want to do this, but my days were just too full on Saturday and Monday - My work out on Sunday was strong and I felt good. Tuesday, I decided to try level 2, just to see if I could do it. AAAANNND I failed. I am not ready for that. I think it takes a lot of upper body strength that I am not ready for quite yet....

30 Day Shred - Day 4

Day 4 - Friday, January 6th
Program: Level 1
Notes: I went to bed last night completely sore...I woke up not so sore! I still felt like I worked out, but just not as sore... I'm not hobbling around today! Yay!
I started the workout out strong...I did the first set of pushups without problems...the second set it was like my arms decided to stop working. It seemed like that for all of the sets...the first one was great, the second set was like my body didn't want to work. But I pushed through! And finished the workout strong.

30 Day Shred - Day 3

Day 3 - Thursday, January 5th
Program: Level 1
Notes: I was SO sore when I went to bed last night, and so sore when I woke up this morning!! Wow! I haven't felt this sore in a long time. But it's a good sore. I was surprised that I made it through the first set of push-ups without any problems. The 2nd set was tough, but I pushed through. Like Jillian says, it's only a 20 minute exercise, so no pausing or stopping. I think that's what makes the program do-able...knowing that it's ONLY 20 minutes, and also, knowing the system of the program... 3-2-1... 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio...1 minute of abs. For me, I can coach myself through the tough parts because I'm like, it's only 3 minutes!!
Anyways, I know it's only day 3, but I feel so energized already. After I finish, I feel like I can do anything! And I do feel tighter I just hold myself better...standing a little taller.

30 Day Shred - Days 1 and 2

Just keeping a short blog about my 30 Day Shred.....

I started the Shred on Tuesday, January 3rd - I am not going to weigh myself for a week...I decided to work on being consistent with the work out before I put a lot of pressure on myself to see results in numbers. Because I am still breastfeeding, I am not changing up my diet too much yet. But I am being more conscience about what I eat. Making sure I eat a healthy breakfast and lunch...and cut back on snacking.

Day 1 - Tuesday, January 3rd
Program: Level 1
Notes: It was tough to get back into the swing of exercising. I had trouble with push ups and abs. Cardio was tough, but I pushed through it.

Day 2 - Wednesday, January 4th
Program: Level 1
Notes: Man, I am feeling the workout from yesterday... my arms are sore, and so are my legs. I really wasn't expecting to feel this sore. I did the work out - level 1 again. It was a little easier to do push ups today! I was expecting since I was sore, that it would not be easy, but I was surprised that I was able to make it through the entire push up set.
